About Viaservice/TransFollow: 

Viaservice BV is an independent organisation based in The Netherlands, providing IT solutions for the transport sector and the supply chain. The services facilitate the exchange and storage of data related to the eCMR and logistic transactions. In 2015 we developed and launched the product TransFollow, the standard for eCMR. The online platform enables the exchange, signing and following of digital consignment notes. Companies can also integrate their own specific software system into TransFollow to keep working in their own administrative environment. We expect the eCMR to become an integral part of the logistic sector within the next five years.

To support and facilitate our sales activities, the person we are looking for will hands on support the business with analytic insights by pro-actively generating reports and implementation of business intelligence tools. Furthermore the candidate will support the accounting department in providing accurate invoicing to customer, registration of contracts and is responsible for accounts payable.

About the Job:

The employee back-office supports the management and sales managers. The back-office is the core of our administration and timely manage receivables and payables as well as provide accurate reporting on the sales activities. This includes the following tasks:

  • Handle incoming invoices and prepare for payment
  • Generate outgoing invoices and prepare for invoicing
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Support the COO and CFO in financial related duties and tasks
  • Manage registration of agreements, contracts, sales activities, and sales
  • Generate and initiate reporting on sales follow up and status
  • Manage the back office of the TransFollow platform
  • By using BI tooling, create reports that generate insights in our core activities
  • Communicate closely with our sales teams on reporting and follow up
  • Support local management with various office management tasks

In a later stage the function could be extended with other various tasks that support our sales teams and customers.

Your Profile :

Ideally we foresee for this position people that are looking for a challenging job as a second step in their career. You have a strong background in reporting and some exposure to accounting. You have excellent skills in working with Excel and preferably BI tooling.

You are familiar with MS Office and ideally you have proper project management skills. As you will be communicating extensively with other regions, you are verbally strong and seen as an open communicator with a positive, confident and determined approach . Therefore you will have excellent communication skills and are representative.

As you will work in an international environment your language skills include at least full proficiency of English. Dutch and French language skills are a plus. As we have offices in multiple countries in Europe, you would eventually be able to travel occasionally with overnight absence from home.


  • Minimum MBO level
  • Pro-active and independent working person
  • You are fluent in English. Any other languages such as French/German/Spanish are a plus
  • You are eligible to work in Amsterdam
  • Work permit for the Netherlands is required
