The company has reached a pivotal inflection point: product-market fit is firmly established, and our strategic evolution toward full supply chain visibility and driver empowerment has been validated by significant enterprise wins.<br \/>\nAs we accelerate our growth and pursue our commercial ambitions, we are looking for a talented and driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>1. Financial leadership and governance<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Lead and implement the financial strategy of the company in line with the board-approved investment framework. The scope covers the full financial function, from day-to-day management to board-level reporting:<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Financial strategy and planning<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the annual budget process and mid-term financial planning in coordination with the MD and management team<\/li>\n<li>Conduct financial modelling, variance analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions<\/li>\n<li>Contribute actively to management team discussions \u2014 finance as a strategic input, not a back-office function<\/li>\n<li>Manage banking relationships and financing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Reporting and controls<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce monthly and quarterly financial reviews for board meetings, including forward projections<\/li>\n<li>Maintain real-time visibility on cash deployment and investment<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen internal controls and ensure organisational accountability across both legal entities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and fit for a multi-entity Swiss\/Dutch structure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Accounting, audit, tax and payroll<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards (Swiss GAAP, EU IFRS, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Lead the annual audit process; primary point of contact for external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Manage tax compliance across Viaservice SA and Viaservice BV, including transfer pricing where applicable<\/li>\n<li>Oversee payroll across all entities and geographies, coordinating with HR where needed<\/li>\n<li>Manage cash flow planning and treasury operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Team and organisational development<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Directly manage the Accountant as first direct report<\/li>\n<li>Assess and build out the finance and legal support team as the company scales<\/li>\n<li>Define and implement finance processes, tools, and systems appropriate to the company's growth stage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>2. Legal and contract management<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the external legal counsel relationship for both Viaservice SA and Viaservice BV<\/li>\n<li>Review all enterprise customer contracts before signature<\/li>\n<li>Own the signing authority and payment authorisation framework for both legal entities<\/li>\n<li>Lead the Directors &amp; Officers insurance review and ensure adequate coverage<\/li>\n<li>Maintain legal compliance with GDPR obligations and applicable Swiss\/Dutch corporate law<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>3. Corporate structure<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the feasibility assessment for establishing legal entities wherever needed, covering employment law, tax, administrative implications, and cost-benefit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>The Profile We Are Looking For<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h6><strong>Academic background<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred \u2014 not mandatory if compensated by strong hands-on experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Professional experience<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>A minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience overall, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role. The following experience is essential:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record in a B2B SaaS, technology, or logistics technology environment \u2014 preferably at a growth-stage company<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience operating as a standalone or near-standalone finance function<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience combining financial management and legal\/contract oversight simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Track record of installing financial governance in a growing company, reporting frameworks, board packs, audit readiness, budget processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing multi-entity corporate structures; familiarity with Swiss and\/or Dutch entities is a strong advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience with shareholder or investor reporting in a growth-stage or venture-backed context<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to legal entity creation and employment structuring across multiple jurisdictions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Skills and competencies<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Beyond technical qualifications, the following characteristics define the right candidate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Legal instinct \u2014 not a qualified lawyer, but someone who reads contracts critically, identifies risk, and knows when to escalate<\/li>\n<li>Board presence \u2014 able to present financial information clearly, answer challenge from experienced directors, and command credibility at senior level<\/li>\n<li>Speed of installation \u2014 able to produce a board-quality financial report within the first 30 days<\/li>\n<li>Commercial awareness \u2014 understanding that finance exists to enable growth, not constrain it; a genuine contributor to strategic conversations<\/li>\n<li>Comfort with ambiguity \u2014 many processes do not yet exist; this person designs and implements them<\/li>\n<li>Rigour and reliability \u2014 zero tolerance for approximation in reporting; the board must be able to trust the numbers<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal effectiveness \u2014 able to work across Geneva, Amsterdam, and distributed sales teams with different cultural and operational contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Languages<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>English \u2014 fluent, working language of the board and management team<\/li>\n<li>French \u2014 fluent, working language of the Geneva headquarters<\/li>\n<li>Another European language \u2014 an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Please submit your CV and any other documentation that adds value to your application.
