e-CMR Italy: successful pilot implementation with the TransFollow e-CMR<\/h2>\n

TransFollow, the European leader in electronic consignment note(e-CMR), was involved in the project \u201ce-CMR Italy\u201d led by Uniontrasporti<\/a> which aims at testing and promoting the use of the e-CMR in the Italian context paving the way towards the ratification of the e-CMR protocol. Uniontrasporti is the in-house company <\/strong>of Unioncamere and the Chambers of Commerce, supporting the development and strategic nature of a competitive transport system, efficient logistics, modern infrastructures, and cutting-edge connectivity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Over a hundred international transports operated by leading Italian transport companies have been carried out in the framework of this pilot for 3 months. Transport companies that performed the test with the eCMR TransFollow solution were: Fercam<\/a>, Rutilli Autotrasporti<\/a> and Riva Logistic & Service<\/a><\/p>\n

This pilot met with the expected success with the high completion rate of more than 94%<\/strong><\/em> of the e-CMRs successfully managed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Carriers particularly valued the ease of use, the real-time disposal of the proof of delivery with e-CMR enabling immediate invoicing as well as real-time tracking of all transport events, especially during loading and delivery.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the evidence of these excellent results, we can be confident that Italy will soon ratify the e-CMR protocol.<\/p>\n
